The JPND strategy represents a vision, endorsed by 24 countries, to coordinate research in neurodegenerative disease, in particular Alzheimer’s across Europe. It addresses the full spectrum of research activity that is required to tackle the growing burden of these diseases for the next decade and beyond. It has been developed under the guidance of the JPND Scientific Advisory Board, chaired by Professor Thomas Gasser and incorporates their scientific recommendations as well as the perspectives of the broader JPND stakeholder community.
