The outcome of the conference entitled “The fight against Alzheimer’s and related diseases”, held in Paris on 30 – 31 October 2008, and gathered the interested parties involved in patient care and carer support. The purpose of the conference was to determine the rules of the common fight against diseases typical for the elderly, in particular with Alzheimer’s, through an interdisciplinary approach, and the integration of the areas of scientific research, health and social policy
