Research Abstract
CBRAIN is a national platform that provides brain researchers across the country with easy access to the Canadian supercomputing network. We now propose to build upon this IT network by creating a layer of (i) online databasing, (ii) neurological/neuropsychological testi instruments, (iii) software tools for analysis of imaging/clinical/genetic data, and (iv) management staff customized for research into neurodegenerative diseases. We will focus on Alzheimer’s disease but the technology will have general application in all areas of research into neurodegenerative diseases.
